This undisputed leader in printer sales needed to reduce after-purchase
support costs for their line of small business printers. We led the
creation of a web site using an iterative process that involved
customers at each phase of development. For customers, the site was a
major step forward in making them less reliant on telephone support;
for HP, the site delivered the support savings they expected and also
reduced the volume of product returns. In fact, the web site was so
successful, that it became a model for all other post-purchase web sites.
